How do I start a new gift fund?

If you would like to establish a new fund to receive gifts, start by contacting the Science Division Development Assistant, Julie Gentle at jgentler@ucsc.edu.

Please include the following information in your email:

• Requested fund name – The name you would like the new fund to have.
• Brief description – A short description of the purpose of the fund and how the gifts will be used.
• Org code – The org code that should be used for the fund. Please include your research accountant on the email so they can confirm that the correct org code is being used.
• Gift link – Let us know if you would like a gift link created for the fund. A gift link makes it easy to share the giving opportunity with donors and can be included in emails, webpages, or other communications.

What happens next?
Science Division Development Assistant, Julie Gentle will work with the appropriate campus partners to initiate the fund setup process and will follow up if any additional information is needed.
