How do I start a new gift fund?

Typically, a new fund is started by a gift to that fund. Writing a check of $10 or more is the easiest way.

Make the check out to UC Santa Cruz Foundation with “[NAME OF FUND]” in the notes and bring it to the PBSci Development Office (Nat Sci II Annex).

If you are expecting a lot of donations or a large gift to a fund, please talk with a development officer about strategy and to make sure the funds will be properly designated.
