LOCATION(S):
Core West Parking Structure
REASON:
To facilitate essential maintenance work. The garage requires concrete repairs and sealing that necessitate full closure for safety and efficiency.
SCHEDULED DATE(S):
12/12/22 Through 1/5/23
- Work will begin on the first floor and will continue in succession on floors 2 through 5 as each floor is completed.
- The work is anticipated to take 3 – 5 days per floor. The garage will be re-opened in phases by floor as work is completed.
**PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE YOUR VEHICLE IN THE CORE WEST PARKING STRUCTURE OVER WINTER CURTAILMENT, AS WORK WILL CONTINUE THROUGHOUT THE CAMPUS CLOSURE.
SCHEDULED TIME:
24/7 for the duration of the project.
IMPACTS:
Parking will be reduced for the duration of this closure. Scheduled after Fall Quarter ends to minimize impacts. The garage will be re-opened in phases as work is completed.
Alternative parking Lots: Lots 138, 139A, 149, 150A, 150B.
*Parking rules will continue to be enforced as posted in campus parking areas. Please observe signage at the entrance to each lot.
If possible, please consider working remotely during this closure to help reduce parking demand.
