Hello PBSci Community,
As many of you know, the current and ongoing UAW Labor Strike activity is impacting many aspects of day-to-day operations campus wide.
One of the largest impacts for PBSci Facilities is that the campus Moving Services group—who we rely on for support for a variety of requests—are currently handling ALL campus mail and package deliveries until further notice. As a result, all of our scheduled moves, disposals and other tasks we rely on them for (i.e dock sweeps, e-waste) are ON HOLD until further notice.
The Thimann Stockroom staff are continuing their day-to-day operations and deliveries, while also retrieving packages from delivery companies that will not cross the picket lines. If you have any inquiries about a current or future delivery, please reach out to Rick Wood via email or by phone at 831-459-2785.
We will update the Division as more information becomes available and will do our best to accommodate requests with the PBSci Woodshop’s support, as much as we can.
