UTILITY TO BE TESTED:
Fire Alarm System
*No horns will be sounded. If you hear an alarm, respond as you normally would to a regular fire alarm.
SCHEDULED DATE(S):
Wednesday, March 15, 2023 through Monday, May 15, 2023
*Testing, maintenance and repairs will be ongoing during this time.
SCHEDULED TIME:
Daily 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM Monday – Friday
REASON:
Annual Preventative Maintenance and testing of the fire alarm system.
DETAILS:
Physical Plant Techs will be performing Annual Preventative Maintenance and testing of the Fire Alarm system.
Local building fire alarm systems will still be operational. No alarms will sound during this testing. *If you do hear an alarm, respond as you would to a regular alarm.
If you see a fire or smell smoke, call 911 as you normally would.
IMPACTS:
Where applicable this testing may cause:
- Elevators to reset, temporarily halting service for a brief period.
- Roll down doors to be released.
- Fire door latches to be released.
