Interior and Exterior Window Cleaning
SCHEDULED DATES:

SCHEDULED TIMES:
7:00 AM – 3:00 PM Daily, Monday- Friday
The work will begin on the interior of the building. When we have a timeline for the exterior work, an update will be sent.
REASON:
Scheduled cleaning of Science Hill building windows
IMPACTS:
FOR INTERIOR OFFICES & LABS:
The PPDO Window Washer will need to enter offices and laboratories to clean the interior windows. Please reply to this email if you have special entry requirements or need advanced notice.
FOR LABS:
The window washer will identify themself and let the occupant(s) know what work they are performing. Please alert us prior, or alert them when they visit your lab, and indicate if it’s okay for them to do their work at that time. To ensure that they are not impacting research activity, we can schedule this around your labs operations if needed. We expect the impacts to your lab, and the time needed to perform the work, to be minimal.
FOR OFFICES:
The window washer will knock on the door and announce themself as “PPDO Window Service”. If no one answers or opens the door, they will enter with a brass key and perform their work. If you are present, you can allow them to enter and perform the cleaning or you can ask them to come back at a time when it is more convenient (i.e. if you are in a meeting or Zoom), or will not be in the office. Please try and accommodate them, if possible, when they are on your floor.
Exterior windows will be done with a pole and brush – no lifts or equipment on the ground. Sidewalk may be wet during the exterior cleaning, please exercise caution as a slip hazard may be present in areas of work.
Please let us know as soon as possible if you foresee any major issues or conflicts with this work.
