Roll Down Fire Doors will be repaired – doors will remain open during repairs, which will be ~1-2 hours in duration each.

REASON:
Preventative maintenance of roll down fire door system.
IMPACTS:
Physical plant alarm technicians and elevator door smoke curtain service vendors will be in your buildings performing annual preventive maintenance on the roll down fire door & fire alarm system. This testing is code mandated and will involve simulating a smoke detector trip which will then send the smoke curtain(s) into their closed position creating the originally designed separation between sections of the building for fire protection.
