Support request for Science Division events

The Science Division events manager is here to support events that further divisional interests, ranging from student awardee celebrations, to retirement parties, to public-facing events that showcase our science.

If you have an idea for an event, but are unsure how it could support divisional development, we are available to help brainstorm with you.

If you already have an event in the works, but need help planning and coordinating it, the Science Division events manager is accepting requests for support.

Some examples of events we can support include:

• Events that will foster relationships with engaged community members or forge new relationships with the public
• Events that will garner good will among current or future alumni with a significant academic-related focus
• Events celebrating prominent UCSC faculty or staff, which will invite either members of the public, UCSC alumni, or current and potential donors
• Events that will engage current or potential industry partners
