For over thirty years, the ACE Program has been increasing the diversity of students earning their bachelors degrees in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) at UC Santa Cruz. ACE advances educational equity by engaging students in active learning, peer mentoring, skill-building, and community development. The Program Coordinator plays a vital role on the ACE team; they are responsible for student communication and outreach, enrollment management, data collection, program planning and analytics, administrative support, and more. The ACE Program Coordinator collaborates with a diverse group of students, staff, and faculty. A significant portion of the day-to-day work includes communicating with students and campus partners to encourage curiosity and a sense of belonging in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) on the UCSC Campus.
