UTILITY AFFECTED:
Building Ventilation System – including Fume Hoods, Processed Cooling Water connected to ice machines or any water cooled equipment in rooms 164, 264 & 364. Building Steam will also be affected.*
*NOTE: Use of any Steam dependent equipment (autoclaves, glass washers, cage washers) while building ventilation systems are down may set off the building fire alarm system—causing a building wide evacuation.

SCHEDULED DATE:

SCHEDULED TIME:
6:00 AM – 11:00 AM

IMPACTS:
During this time, there will be no HVAC or ventilation available in the building, please keep fume hoods closed during the shutdown and please refrain from using them during the shutdown. All building autoclaves, dishwashers, steam kettles and other steam heated equipment should not be used during the shutdown.

DO NOT ATTEMPT TO USE STEAM DEPENDENT EQUIPMENT AS IT MAY SET OFF THE BUILDING FIRE ALARMS

REASON:
Preventative maintenance, repair and air filter replacement

DETAILS:
Please remember to close your fume hood sashes the evening prior to this shutdown, and refrain from working with any hazardous materials in the building during the shutdown period. Fume Hoods will go into alarm if opened during shutdown.
