The work requiring this Utility Shutdown directly supports the ongoing Sinsheimer HVAC & Mechanical Controls Project currently underway in the SOUTH Wing Labs.
SCHEDULED DATE:
Tuesday, June 2 to Tuesday, June 23, 2026 (add this to your calendar)
SCHEDULED TIME:
6:30 AM on 6/2 to 3:00 PM on 6/23
REASON:
Replacement of domestic heating water heat exchanger.
IMPACTS:
No hot domestic water will be available for the entire building, including kitchens, showers, janitor sinks, and restrooms.
Please plan experiments accordingly.
DETAILS:
Environmental control rooms will continue to operate during this shutdown, with no planned interruption to temperature control.
