SCHEDULED DATE(S):
Monday, September 23 through Friday, October 25, 2024 (add this to your calendar)
*Testing, maintenance and repairs will be ongoing during this time. No alarms will sound during this testing.
SCHEDULED TIME:
7:00 AM to 4:00 PM Monday through Friday, daily
REASON:
Annual, preventive maintenance of the fire alarm system.
IMPACTS:
You may see workers in the building. Local building fire alarm systems will still be operational. No alarms will sound during this testing. No shutdown is required.
*If you hear an alarm, please respond as you normally would. If you see a fire or smell smoke, call 911 as you normally would.
Where applicable, testing may also cause:
- Elevators to reset, temporarily halting service for a brief period.
- Roll down doors to be released.
- Fire door latches to be released.
