 INDUSTRIAL & DOMESTIC HOT/COLD WATER 
AND STEAM SYSTEM SHUTDOWN

UTILITY AFFECTED: 
Industrial/Domestic Hot & Cold Water and Building Steam will be shut down for approximately 4 hours
 
SCHEDULED DATE: 
Tuesday July 20, 2021
 
SCHEDULED TIME: 
8:00 AM – 12:00 PM
 
 
IMPACTS: 
– Industrial/Domestic Hot & Cold Water return lines will be off, water will not be available in the lab sinks
–  Building Steam will not be available  – All building autoclaves, dishwashers, steam kettles and other steam heated equipment will not function during the shutdown.
***DO NOT ATTEMPT TO USE STEAM DEPENDENT EQUIPMENT UNTIL THE SYSTEM HAS BEEN RESTORED. 
 
REASON:
Water piping needs to be moved to install the replacement water softener
