NOISE & WORK ADVISORY – SCIENCE HILL

RED HILL ROAD REPLACEMENT PROJECT
The Demolition work on Red Hill Road will begin on Wednesday 7/20/22. This notification outlines the days demolition noise, vibration & dust will be prominent. You can expect to see workers, large equipment and experience construction noise.

LOCATION/AREA TO BE AFFECTED:
RED HILL ROAD  ***From BioMed to Earth & Marine Sciences — entire Road

SCHEDULED DATES AND ACTIVITY:
Wednesday July 20th — DEMOLITION BEGINS WITH BACKHOE – DUST & NOISE EXPECTED ALL DAY
Thursday July 21st — GRINDING OF ROADWAY WITH LARGE GRINDER VEHICLE – DUST, NOISE AND VIBRATION EXPECTED – 1/2 DAY ONLY
Friday July 22nd  — FINAL ROAD SURFACE PREPARATION BEGINS – BACKHOE, DIGGING, DUST AND SOME CONSTRUCTION NOISE
Monday July 25th & Tuesday July 26th – CONTINUE FINAL ROAD SURFACE PREPARATION – BACKHOE, DIGGING, DUST AND SOME CONSTRUCTION NOISE FOR BOTH DAYS
Wednesday July 27th & Thursday July 28th — ADDITIONAL GRINDING OF ROADWAY WITH LARGE GRINDER VEHICLE –  THIS FINAL GRINDING WILL BE MORE INTENSIVE (DEEPER EXCAVATION WORK) DUST, NOISE AND CONTINUAL VIBRATION EXPECTED – BOTH DAYS, ALL DAY.
***If building occupants are sensitive to vibration and noise disruption, we suggest remote work on the days we expect
the most impact to Science Hill from GRINDING NOISE & DUST


SCHEDULED TIMES:
7:00 AM – 5:00 PM Monday-Friday (daily)

REASON:
Planned Red Hill Road Replacement project
